In June 2025, YNDC team members began the Second Ward Community Safety program.

The Mahoning County Land Bank and YNDC have completed groundbreakings on new homes in the City of Struthers, City of Campbell, and Village of Sebring in the month of June.

Officials from the Mahoning County Land Bank, Youngstown Neighborhood Development Corp. and the village of Sebring marked progress on a new affordable housing project funded through the Welcome Home Ohio program.

The Walter E. and Caroline H. Watson Foundation awarded a $15,000 Grant to YNDC for clean and green equipment.

The Huntington Foundation awarded YNDC with a $30,000 grant for Housing Counseling.
